|
Value |
Description |
|---|---|
|
Modified |
Either the data set has changed since the last time it was backed up or the data set has never been backed up. |

The Event Chronicle automated backup utility enables you to perform backups of current event data sets using the Windows Task Scheduler or a third party application. You can also run the utility manually from a DOS command prompt.
The Event Chronicle automated backup utility supports:
Backing up all current event data sets to local/networked storage
Backing up only current event data sets that have not been backed up
Deleting backed up event data sets in the target directory according to their age
If you have configured the Event Chronicle to copy events from the active data set to current data sets, the system performs this copy function at the top of the appropriate hour. Schedule automated backups such that they do not conflict with the copy function.
