Low disk space on the ProfessionalPLUS workstation can corrupt the database. It is recommended that you create an alarm to notify you when the disk space on the ProfessionalPLUS workstation drops below a certain level. A sample module, MONITOR_FREEDISK, is included in DeltaV\Samples and can be used as a starting point to create the alarm. In the sample module, the alarm priority is set to Log when the disk space on the ProfessionalPLUS workstation drops below 400 MB and Warning when it drops below 200 MB. The alarm priority can be increased depending upon your needs.
In the DeltaV Diagnostics application, the FreeDisk parameter on the ProfessionalPLUS workstation shows the amount of free space (in MB) on the disk.
