Writes the value specified to the parameter property in the real-time database. The function also returns the status of the call to indicate if any problem occurred between the function call and the DeltaV Excel server, the OPC server, or other DeltaV data handling software.
This function affects the process. It is recommended that you only write to user-defined DeltaV parameters that your control strategy can ignore.
