There are three types of Smart Firewall users:
- An
Administrator user can set up and configure the firewall, enable
traffic protection, and edit all user accounts. An Administrator user can
change their first name, last name, and password. In addition, an Administrator
user can change the default administrator password, edit all existing user
accounts, and create new accounts. When the Administrator user logs in to the
web UI for the first time, he should change the default administrator password.
It is not possible to change the username or privileges of the default
administrator account. If you forget all administrator passwords, including the
default administrator password, you can make a serial connection to the
firewall to reset the default administrator password.
- An
Engineer user can configure traffic protection and view the same
information as a view only user. An Engineer user can change their first name,
last name, and password.
- A
View only user can view information about the firewall hardware,
the firewall configuration, the firewall firmware, and the enabled traffic
protection. A View only user is not able to change any of this information. A
View only user can change their first name, last name, and password.
