When determining the number of active batches, the Campaign Manager considers an active batch to be one that has been released to the Batch Executive and is in any state except ACTIVE-READY or ACTIVE-COMPLETE. Although batches in these two states are listed in the Batch Executive, they are not included in the current number of active batches because they do not have any active assignment of resources (unit bindings). Only released batches with active assignment of resources are active.
