Select the base recipe for the campaign from the drop-down list of available recipes.
Campaign Name
The unique batch ID(s) that identifies a particular batch in a campaign. The batch ID has 3 parts: a prefix (defaulted to the first 22 characters of the campaign name), a sequence number (starting at 1), and a suffix (defaulted to the first 22 characters of the base recipe).
Min
Displays the minimum batch size defined in the recipe.
Value
The Value field is the actual amount for production of this batch. It is combined with the EU (engineering units). For example, if the batch is to produce 50 gallons, the number in the Value field is 50, and the unit specification in the EU field is gal. If you change the Scale field, the Value field changes, and vice-versa. (Click somewhere else in the dialog to view the change.)
Max
Displays the maximum batch size defined in the recipe.
EU
Displays the engineering units defined in the recipe for batch production.
Scale
The Scale field is the Value divided by the Max. If you change the Scale field, the Value changes, and vice-versa. (Click somewhere else in the dialog to view the change.)
Recipe Name
From the drop-down list, select the recipe to be used for this batch of the campaign.
Version
Displays the recipe version. The version helps you track the changes you have made to the recipe. This field is logged in the batch history file when a recipe is run.
Description
Displays the recipe description.
Equipment Train Name
Select from the equipment trains available to this recipe. The campaign will run using this equipment train.
Description
The description as entered on the selected equipment train’s Properties dialog.
Unit Aliasing
Select a unit for each unit alias that is not fixed to a unit. Unit aliases are based on unit classes. Only units belonging to the appropriate unit class are displayed.
The selection mode controls whether the unit selection is performed by the system (From_Policy) or by the operator (Defer). A unit selection policy must be defined and used for unit aliases that have a selection mode of From_Policy.
Unit aliases can be changed (including reselecting Defer) after the campaign has been created but before the batch is released to the Batch Executive. Once the batch is released to the Batch Executive, you can no longer edit it from the Campaign Manager Operator Interface.
When viewing properties of an existing campaign, unit aliases are view-only.
If no units are available in the list, you might not have the correct privileges for the areas assigned to this Batch Executive or no units of the required (by the recipe) unit class are assigned to this Batch Executive.
Unit Bindings
To change a bound unit, click the Bound Unit name to display a drop-down list of available units, then select a unit. If the unit is currently out of service, the unit name has (OOS) listed next to the name.
Unit bindings can be changed (including reselecting Defer) after the campaign has been created but before the batch is released to the Batch Executive. Once the batch is released to the Batch Executive, you can no longer edit it from the Campaign Manager.
If no units are available in the list, you might not have the correct privileges for the areas assigned to this Batch Executive or no units of the required (by the recipe) unit class are assigned to this Batch Executive.
