The DeltaV Batch Access Server facilitates and coordinates the communication between the DeltaV Batch clients and the DeltaV Batch Executives. It is the single source for DeltaV Batch client OPC connections to any DeltaV Batch Executive.
The DeltaV Batch Access Server resides on any node running a Batch client (that is, a Batch Operator Interface or any of the DeltaV Batch Operator Interface controls). The DeltaV Batch Access Server is not visible to the end user, however, the user can configure advanced options for the workstation’s DeltaV Batch Access Server through the Batch OI Configuration tool.
