About system preferences

You can hide or show menu commands for DeltaV functional areas.

1. To enable commands for the DeltaV functional areas, click Start → DeltaV Engineering → System Preferences.

2. Select (or de-select) functional areas as appropriate.

3. Click OK.

4. After setting the preferences, close any DeltaV applications that would be affected and open them again in order for the preferences to take effect.

These preferences only affect what you see in the DeltaV applications, they do not alter the contents of the configuration database.
