Use this dialog to specify a historical data backup task.
- Backup directory
- Enter or browse to the directory where the historical data is
backed up.
- Backup Task Name
- Enter a name for this task.
- Create New Active Data Set
- Select this check box to create a new active data set when this
task runs.
- Backup Data Set only if Modified
- If this check box is selected the task runs only if the
historical data has changed.
- Backup Extended Data Sets
- If this checkbox is selected extended (offline) data sets are
also backed up when the task runs.
- Number of Retries
- To have the task retry, select this check box and select a number
of attempts to retry.
- Backup Data Set if Less Than
- To back up newer data sets, select this check box and select a
number of days.
- Delete Offline Data Set if Greater Than
- To delete older data sets, select this check box and select a
number of days.
- Send output to Log File
- To save a log file of back up actions, select this check box.
- Run as
- Enter the user ID to run the backup as.
- Please enter Password
- Enter the password for the user ID.
- Re-enter Password
- Confirm the user ID password.
- Task Status: Enabled
- To run the backup task at its next scheduled time, select this
check box.
