To create a new active historical data set, the user must have the
DeltaV security key for the HDS_ACTIVE function, and then complete the
following steps:
Click the
Create New Active Data Set icon on the toolbar
or select
Create New Active Data Set from the
Tools menu.
The
Create New Active Data Set dialog prompts you to
continue, indicating that a new active data set will be started and the
existing active data set will be converted to the current data set.
Click
Yes to continue with the creation of a new
active data set or
No to cancel the request.
The active data set is
closed and becomes the current data set. A new, empty data set is started.
