View data set properties

To open the Data Set Properties dialog, complete the following steps:

Select a data set from the right pane of the main display.
Double-click the data set name or right-click and select Data Set Properties from the context menu.
Click OK.

The Data Set Properties dialog lists the following properties of a selected historical data set:

The historian server name
The type of data set: an active, current, or extended data set in the Primary storage area, or an exported data set in the \Automatic Exports directory
For an extended data set, the information may also include the DeltaV user name of the user who created the extended data set and any comments entered at the time it was created.
The location and size of the data set
The start and end times for the data set
The number of tags in the data set
The date the data set was created
The date created is the same as the start time for the active and current data set, but different for an extended or exported data set.
