Administrative log functions defined

The Administrative Log contains a list of the activities that have occurred. You can view this log from any connected machine (remote or local). You can save the log when on the machine containing the log (the local machine). This will clear space on the Batch Historian machine.

The Administrative Log is created when you:

• Archive batches
• Archive events
• Attach an archive
• Change the start or end times for a source linkage
• Create a new DeltaV source
• Delete batches
• Delete events
• Detach an archive
• Link a DeltaV source to a Batch Executive source
• Save the Administrative Log to a text file.

You can view the logs for the Auto Delete, Auto Archive and Auto Backup functions.
