This feature creates source linkages that allow continuous event and alarm data for equipment that a batch uses to be included in batch reports. The source linkages are stored in the Batch Historian’s database.
Select Database → Source Linkage from the menu.
Select the DeltaV Source (the alarm data) and the Batch Executive Source (the equipment data) for which you want to create a link.
Note
A link allows alarm and event data for the DeltaV Source to be associated with the Batch Executive source for reporting and trending purposes.
Enter the dates and time for which this link is valid (for example Valid From: 01/01/99 10:30:00 AM and Valid To: 12/31/99 11:59:59 PM).
Click the Link button.
Click OK. The link is now listed in the Active Links columns.
Note
To unlink an active link, select the active link, and then click the Unlink button.
If the DeltaV Source is not listed, click New, and then enter the Area/Node/Module name.
