Timestamp Attributes dialog

The Continuous Historian database records all times in GMT. The time mode specifies how timestamps should be presented to the user.

Mode  Select the mode for the timestamp: Local Time or GMT. If GMT, you can specify an offset in hours and minutes. If Local, the recorded GMT timestamps are converted to the time zone of the client PC, taking into account daylight savings at the time of the timestamp. If GMT with offset of 00:00, then the raw GMT timestamp as recorded by the historian server is supplied without modification. An offset can be applied to simulate conversion to another time zone.

Offset  If GMT is selected as the mode, you can select a time offset in +/-hh:mm. For example, to convert to Helsinki time, an offset of +02:00 could be specified. Note that this conversion is unaffected by daylight savings, so it will be a two-hour offset regardless of whether the timestamp is in winter or summer.
