DeltaV S-series horizontal carriers and hardware are designed for
installation in an enclosure suitable for the location in which the equipment
is installed. Use standard, 3.5 cm (1.38 inch) T-type DIN rails to hold the
equipment.
Suggested spacing for DIN rail installation
- Maintain 2.5 cm (.98 inch) from the top of the carrier to the bottom of the wireway mounted above or to the top edge of the enclosure's mounting surface .
- Maintain 5.0 cm (1.97 inch) from the bottom of the carrier to the top of the wireway mounted below or from the bottom edge of the enclosure’s mounting surface.
- Maintain 30.4 cm (11.96 inches) from the bottom of the wireway mounted above or to the top edge of the enclosure's mounting surface to the top of the wireway mounted below or from the bottom edge of the enclosure’s mounting surface.
- Maintain 11.4 cm (4.48 inches) from the center of the DIN rail to the top of the carriers.
