Install a CHARM I/O Carrier on the DIN rail

The CHARM I/O carrier holds redundant CHARM I/O Cards (CIOCs). It has redundant 24 VDC connectors for providing power to the CIOCs, to the CHARMs, and to the field devices, redundant (primary and secondary) ethernet ports for connection to the control network, and redundant (primary and secondary) cascade ports for daisy-chaining up to 16 CIOCs.

No tools are required to install the CHARM I/O carrier on the DIN rail. A latch on the back of the carrier snaps it into place on the DIN rail. Connectors on the bottom of the carrier connect with connectors on the first CHARM Baseplate.
