Install CHARMs

CHARMs install in terminal blocks on the CHARM Baseplate.

Note

Although CHARMs can be installed in any location, it is good engineering practice to separate low voltage DC signals from high voltage AC signals. To ensure a safe working environment, it is recommended that you wire AC signals to a different enclosure from DC signals .

Open the latch on a terminal block.
Insert a CHARM into the terminal block and push the CHARM until the latch closes.

Note
Most CHARM terminal blocks are automatically keyed to the first CHARM installed. However, the CHARM Thermocouple mV Terminal Block has a fixed key setting and cannot be reset.
