Install Ethernet I/O Cards on the Dual Universal Carrier

Ethernet I/O Cards (EIOC) install on the Dual Universal Carrier.

  1. Align the shallow opening on the bottom of the EIOC with the tab on a carrier slot and align the top of the EIOC with the housing on a carrier slot.
  2. Push the EIOC to snap it into place. Install two EIOCs for redundancy.
  3. To remove an EIOC, depress the button on the top of the EIOC and pull the EIOC out of the slot.
