The 1-wide left and right VerticalPLUS carrier extenders are used to extend power and local peer bus signals from a left to right 8-wide VerticalPLUS I/O Interface carrier and from a right to left 8-wide VerticalPLUS I/O Interface carrier. Refer to the Installing Your DeltaV Safety Instrumented System Hardware manual for information on the local peer bus.
