You can customize your view of the data by expanding and compressing the height (amplitude) of the trend. For example, you can compress a trend that has gone off of the Y-scale limits. You can also change the percentage by which the trend is expanded or compressed.

Right-click, and then select
Set Y Scale. Then select:
- Auto Scale to set the scale based on the parameter selected.
- Manual… to manually set the Y scale limits.
- Compress to reduce the height of the trend.
- Expand to increase the height of the trend.
- Change % to enter the percentage to expand/compress the scale.
- Or click

the trend and
to expand the
trend.
NoteYou can change the amount by which the trend is expanded or compressed by selecting the trend, and selecting from the context menu.
TipOccasionally high or low data points may fall out of view of the Y scale limits. To reposition the trend so that all data points are visible within the Y scale limits, click a data point (the cursor turns into a hand when the data point is selected), drag the trend vertically, and release the mouse button when all data points are visible.
