Show the optimizer values

Select the Optimizer → Show Dialog command to view and modify the values of the selected optimizer. Read the help and the instructions in the lower left hand corner of the dialog for information on which values can be modified and how to modify values.

An Optimizer is a function that adjusts the working setpoints of the controlled variables to achieve a control objective. Usually control objectives express economic value like cost or profit. A standard control objective is provided for the block; however, expert users can use the PredictPro application to define up to five control objectives. Use the Optimizer drop down list in the Mode area to select the optimizer to use in the control.
