Change the MPC block's mode

In Manual mode, the operator has full control of the MPC block outputs. In Auto mode, the MPC block automatically calculates outputs.

Note

Put the MPC block in Auto mode to change the setpoint for Controlled variables. Put the MPC block in Manual mode to make changes to Manipulated variables.

Click the Auto button in the Mode Controls area to put the MPC block in Automatic mode.
Click the Man button in the Mode Controls area to put the MPC block in Manual mode.
