Set a deadband

Use the Set Deadband command to specify how much a new value must change before it is added to the chart. For example, suppose you have a deadband setting of 1%, on a scale of 1 to 100. If the value changed from 5.0 to 5.5, the value is not added to the chart. However if the value changed to 6.0, it is added to the chart. The default deadband is 0.5%.

  1. Select a trend or hold down the Ctrl key as you select multiple trends.
  2. Click Trend → Set Deadband and select a deadband value.
    To see every value, select 0% deadband.
