The General page of the Server Monitor Configuration dialog contains the following configuration options:
- Timeout -- The maximum time for OPC servers to respond to a status query. The connection to an OPC server is considered bad if the OPC server does not respond to Mirror Client's query within timeout.
- Interval -- How often OPC Mirror will query each OPC server.
- Wait Between Reconnect -- If the OPC server fails to response within timeout limit, OPC Mirror will wait at least this long before each reconnection attempt.
- Write Timeout -- When values on the source end of a pipe change, OPC Mirror writes them to the destination end of the pipe. The write operation is synchronous. If this write does not return before the specified timeout, OPC Mirror treats the OPC server as failed and will attempt to reload all pipes associated with that server.
- Enable Server Monitor -- Enable or disable the Server Monitor. If you do not enable this option, the Server Monitor cannot be used for monitoring or alarming; also, you cannot enable options on the Redundancy page of the Server Monitor Configuration dialog.
- Restore Defaults -- Restore the Server Monitor general configuration values to default
