Backup

The Backup button exists on the Configuration Management page.

Clicking the Backup button backs up the active project to the SD card in the controller. Backing up the active project to the SD card does not affect the controller's runtime configuration.

Backup Active Project message: Prompts you if the SD card's last backup is newer and suggests that you compare the projects.; Warns you that you will overwrite the SD card with the active project if you continue with the backup.
Proceed with the backup checkbox: Select this option to both acknowledge the message and to activate the Backup button. This option is only presented if your SD card contains newer content than your active project.

Note

OPC UA certificates are not included in a project backup. These certificates must be manually backed up. Refer to the Books Online section, Backing up OPC UA security certificates for a PK controller server, for details on backing up these certificates.
