Add a comment to a recipe

Adding a comment object allows you to create a comment on your diagram (limit to 2040 characters. Each new line adds 3 characters in addition to the text.).

To add the comment:

  1. Drag the Comment icon onto the diagram to insert text on the diagram.
  2. Save the recipe.
  3. Download the recipe.

Once the recipe is downloaded to the Batch subsystem the comment will be displayed in the Batch Operator Interface when the recipe is viewed graphically from the PFC View.

Note

For best results, when using a box around a comment, use either Arial 11pt or Courier New 10pt as the General Font in Recipe Studio. (To support language translations, the Batch Operator Interface uses the MS Sans Serif font to display recipe comments.)
