Create a new procedure

To create a new procedure, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Main button , and then click New.
  2. From the New dialog, select Procedure in the Object Type field.
  3. Click Create New.
    Note

    If you already have a procedure PFC to use as a template, select Create from Existing.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Define the equipment for the procedure.
  6. Add steps and transitions to your PFC. Associate each step to a unit procedure when creating a procedure.
    Note

    The unit procedures are linked to (not embedded in) the procedure. Editing the unit procedure here will affect all other places where that unit procedure is used.

  7. Wire your steps and transitions together.
  8. Terminate the recipe.
  9. Verify the recipe
  10. Click the Main button, and then click Save.
  11. Enter a name for the PFC.
