Create a new unit procedure

To create a new unit procedure, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Main button , and then click New.
  2. From the New dialog, select Unit Procedure in the Object Type field.
  3. Click Create New.
    Note

    If you already have a unit procedure PFC to use as a template, select Create from Existing.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Define the equipment for the unit procedure.
  6. Add steps and transitions to your PFC. Associate each step to an operation when creating a unit procedure.
    Note

    Operations are linked to (not embedded in) the unit procedure. Editing the operation here will affect all other places where that operation is used.

  7. Wire your steps and transitions together.
  8. Terminate the recipe.
  9. Verify the recipe
  10. Click the Main button, and then click Save.
  11. Enter a name for the PFC.
