Write an expression

In Recipe Studio, expressions are used to trigger the transition that moves the PFC to the next step.

  1. Select the transition.
  2. Right-click, and then select Modify from the context menu.
  3. Enter a description, if needed.
  4. Click Expression Assistant to create a transition condition. The Expression Editor opens.
  5. In the Expression Editor, write the expression for transition. Click OK to insert the expression in the Transition Condition field.
  6. Click Validate Condition to parse the expression.
  7. Click OK and the expression is saved for that transition.
