Run a report on demand

A report can be generated on demand when the status of the report is Ready. Scheduled reports can be run on demand if they are not currently running. If other reports are submitted while a report is running, the status of the submitted report changes to Pending and the Next Run Time changes to the time and date the report is submitted to run. Once the current running report is complete, the subsequent scheduled reports are run one at a time in order of date and time.

Important
  • Reports are run one at a time.
  • The Run option is enabled only if the report is eligible to be run.
  • A report must have configured filters and items to be eligible to run.
  1. Click File → Manage Alarm Reports... to open the Manage Alarm Reports dialog (if you are not already in the dialog).
  2. Select the report you want to run from the list view.
  3. Select Tools → Run.
An XML file and an HTML file are created in the file location specified when the report was created. Both files are updated (overwritten) each time the report is run.
