DeltaV SRM100 Safety Switch

Installation notes

• The SRM100 Safety Switch is used exclusively on the Local Safety Network (LSN).
  Important

  Only DeltaV Safety Switches (LSN20 and SRM100) and DeltaV SIS nodes are supported on the Local Safety Network.

• The SRM100 Safety Switch can be mounted on a 19 inch rack or on a wall. If the switch is mounted on a 19 inch rack, be sure to install sliding mounting rails to properly hold the switch.
• The SRM100 Safety Switch consists of a base switch and sockets for two media modules that plug into the switch and provide an additional 8 or 16 ports.
• The SRM100 Safety Switch supports redundant input power. The standard power supply alone supplies power to the SRM100 Safety Switch. The redundant power supply automatically becomes active if the standard supply fails.
