Install LS CHARMs

LS CHARMs install in terminal blocks on the CHARM Baseplate.

Note

Although LS CHARMs can be installed in any location, it is good engineering practice to separate low voltage DC signals from high voltage AC signals. To ensure a safe working environment, it is recommended that you wire AC signals to a different enclosure from DC signals.

  1. Open the latch on a terminal block.
  2. Insert a LS CHARM into the terminal block and push the LS CHARM until the latch closes.
    Note

Most CHARM terminal blocks are automatically keyed to the first LS CHARM installed. However, the following CHARM terminal blocks have a fixed key setting: CHARM Thermocouple / mV, LS DVC (simplex and redundant), LS Redundant DTA Relay, LS Redundant ETA Relay.
