Connect power to SZ Controllers

Redundant 24 VDC power is delivered from bulk power supplies to SZ Controllers through the SZ Controller Carrier. It is recommended that the bulk power supply is connected to a surge suppression/filter device.

For this procedure, it is assumed that redundant bulk 24 VDC power supplies and surge suppression/filter devices are already installed.

  1. Connect the AC power that is feeding the bulk power supplies to surge suppression/filter devices.
  2. Connect the bulk power supply to the power terminals on the SZ Controller Carrier.
  3. Ground the power supplies as shown in the image.
