The System Alarm Management application lets you view and work with multiple Logic Solver hardware alarms and Logic Solver device alarms. It can also be used to work with SIS module alarms.
This topic is concerned only with Logic Solver hardware alarms and HART device alarms.
The System Alarm Management application provides a way to efficiently view and manage multiple Logic Solver hardware alarms and the HART device alarms for devices connected to the Logic Solver. The application can be used to configure alarm priority and alarm shelving timeout parameters for Logic Solver hardware alarms. For HART device alarms, it can be used to configure alarm priority and to enable or disable alarms. You must download any changes that you make in the System Alarm Management application before these changes take effect in the Logic Solver.
Start the application from the DeltaV Explorer by using the Applications menu or the System Alarm Management Application toolbar button.
