This dialog opens when you run the Add Smart Firewall command from in the system tree. Most of the information needed for adding a firewall is found in the Web UI. The following table lists the fields and controls on the dialog.

| Firewall Name |
Enter the name you want to assign to the firewall module. Cannot exceed 16 characters including the required _$W suffix appended to the name specified. |
| Firewall IP Address | Enter the IP address for the firewall, found in the Web UI on the Configuration tab > Summary, under Internal interface. |
| Firewall SNMP Password | Enter the SNMP server password that was created in the Web UI on the Configuration tab > SNMP settings. |
| Confirm SNMP Password | Reenter the SNMP server password. |
| Firewall Location |
Enter the location of the firewall (up to 63 characters). This text appears in firewall faceplates in DeltaV Operate. This description is also stored in the firewall. |
| Plant Area | Select the area to which you want the firewall assigned from the drop down list. |
| Workstation |
Select the ProfessionalPLUS or Application station to which the firewall is downloaded. The workstation must already be configured and communicating in the DeltaV system for the firewall addition to succeed. |
| Primary Control Display | Select the control display you want to be associated with this firewall. Optionally enter or browse to the display. |
| Add button |
Click to accept the entries in the dialog and begin the process of adding the firewall. This process writes the entered information to the firewall while creating and downloading the firewall module. |
| Cancel button | Click to close the dialog without accepting any entries. |
