This is a list of summary information for each commissioned device (switch or firewall) in the selected Network item in the hierarchy.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the device and its associated module. If the device is not associated with a module or not communicating with its module, the device's IP address appears. |
| COMM | An icon indicates if the device has an active COMMUNICATION alarm1. |
| FAILED | An icon indicates if the device has an active FAILED alarm1. |
| MAINT | An icon indicates if the device has an active MAINTENANCE alarm1. |
| ADVISE | An icon indicates if the device has an active ADVISE alarm1. |
| Locking Status | Shows whether the device is locked or not. If the device is not communicating, ??? appears. |
| Lock Timer | Shows the amount of time left (in minutes) before auto-lockdown. If the Lock Timer cannot be read, ??? appears. |
| Location Description | The location description of the device configured in the module. |
| 1 No icon indicates no alarm. | |
The following commands are available from the context menu when a device is selected. Only commands that are applicable to the selected device are displayed.

| Lock | Locks the selected device. |
| Unlock | Unlocks the selected device. |
| Open Condition Summary Viewer | Launches the DeltaV Condition Summary Viewer for the selected device. This menu item is disabled for commissioned devices whose control modules are missing or not communicating. |
| Flash LEDs | Flashes the LEDs on the selected device. |
| Advanced switch information | Opens the Advanced Switch Information dialog for the selected device. |
| Telnet to Switch | Opens a Telnet session to the device. |
| SSH to Switch | Opens a secure shell (SSH) to the switch's command line interface (CLI). |
| Enter Smart Switch (or Smart Firewall) Management Password | Generates a random password for the Smart
Switch.
Prompts you to enter a new management password for the Smart Firewall. |
| Upgrade Firmware | Initiates a device firmware upgrade. |
| Restore Defaults | Restores the default settings on the selected device. |
