What data is collected during registration?

When adding new nodes or other functions to a DeltaV system, exit this registration utility. Once the new nodes or functions have been added, re-run this utility to collect the new data. The DeltaV System Registration utility collects the following data when it is installed on a ProfessionalPLUS workstation or non-DeltaV PC:

• Operating system version, build and service pack
• Operating system language version
• Windows installed updates
• DELL Service Tag Number, if the workstation is a DELL computer
• Computer model
• BIOS version
• Video card model
• Video card driver version
• Modem card model
• Modem card driver version
• Network card model
• Network card driver version
• System Identification number (dongle ID)
• Symantec and McAfee antivirus information

In addition, for both ProfessionalPLUS and non-DeltaV workstations, the utility:

• Determines if Microsoft Office is installed
• Determines if Domain Controller is enabled
• Determines if Terminal Server is enabled

When installed on a ProfessionalPLUS workstation, the utility also does the following:

• Determines if batch operation is enabled.
• Determines if fieldbus operation is enabled; also, if AMS Device Manager Server Plus Station software is installed on the DeltaV ProfessionalPLUS workstation and the DeltaV network has been added to the AMS network configuration, collects any additional AMS parameters for fieldbus devices.
• Determines if redundant communication operation is enabled.
• Determines if Fault Tolerant system operation is enabled.
• Determines if Profibus operation is enabled.
• Determines if DeviceNet operation is enabled.
• Determines if ASI operation is enabled.
• Determines if HART operation is enabled; also, if AMS Device Manager Server Plus Station software is installed on the DeltaV ProfessionalPLUS workstation and the DeltaV network has been added to the AMS network configuration, collects any additional AMS parameters for HART devices.
• Determines if OPC Mirror operation is enabled.
• Retrieves DeltaV workstation identification and type information.
• Retrieves DeltaV version, build, service packs and hotfixes applied.
• Retrieves the DeltaV ProfessionalPLUS license activation dates. The activation date is defined as the date of first system use.
• Retrieves the used system license information.
• Retrieves the loaded system license information.
• Retrieves DeltaV controller and I/O card device identification and version information.
• Retrieves I/O bus device identification and version information.
• Retrieves SLS 1508 Smart Logic Solver identification and version information.
• Retrieves SISNet Repeater identification and version information.
• Retrieves CHARMs Smart Logic Solver (CSLS) identification and version information.
• Retrieves LS CHARM identification, version, and type information.
