Common keystrokes for the virtual machine

The following lists the commonly used keystrokes for the virtual machine.

Note

The Host key is defined as the Right Ctrl key by default.

Key sequences for

Logging in - to log into the virtual machine, use Host + Delete.
Scale / Windowed mode - to toggle the virtual machine's session window between scaled and windowed, press Host + C.
Main Menu Bar - To view the virtual machine's main menu bar, press Host + Home on the keyboard. The menu bar is available in windowed mode only. When in scaled mode, Host + Home displays the main menu bar as a popup menu.
Mouse and Keyboard - When the virtual machine is set to autocapture the mouse and keyboard (the default for the DeltaV PK controller virtual Engineering Station), you can uncapture them by pressing the Host key. They are automatically captured when you activate the virtual machine (that is, click in the virtual machine's window).
