64-Bit processor
200 GB hard drive free space dedicated to the virtual machine
SSD (Solid State Drive) recommended for optimal performance
1 physical NIC adapter with RJ45 jack, such as an internal NIC or a USB to Ethernet external port. Use of wireless network adapters is not supported.

By default, the VirtualBox environment takes exclusive control over the hardware virtualization technology (VT-x for Intel processors). This means you cannot run other virtualization environments (for example, Hyper-V) on the same computer without modifying the VirtualBox environment. Refer to the VirtualBox help system for details.
Older processors might also require enabling the Execute Disable bit (also called eXecute Disable or XD) - specifically if the virtual machine will not run and a Guru Mediation error is displayed by VirtualBox.
Always read the VirtualBox instructions and release notes when downloading their files. it is usual to expect to keep both the VirtualBox Windows Host software version and the Extension Pack version the same. Refer to the VirtualBox documentation for more information.
By downloading files from VirtualBox, you are agreeing to the VirtualBox terms and conditions. Please read the user manual and any bulletins or release notes provided by VirtualBox before proceeding.
