Install the CPU on the carrier

In hazardous locations the CPU should not be removed or inserted into the carrier unless the input power has been deenergized for at least one minute.

1. Locate the slot labeled CPU on the carrier.
2. Align the connectors on the back of the CPU with the connectors on the carrier and push to attach the CPU to the carrier.
3. Tighten the two mounting screws on the CPU with a 3 mm hex-head wrench.
