In hazardous locations the power supply should not be removed or inserted into the carrier unless the input power has been deenergized for at least one minute.

Locate the three power terminals on the side of the carrier.
The terminals are labeled +24V, RETURN, and
ground ().
Connect the 24 VDC power supply's +24 VDC and return connectors to the
corresponding terminals on the carrier.
Connect the power supply's return connection to earth ground.
Connect earth ground to the terminal labeled on the carrier.
