The Alarm Mosaic's application window is divided into three regions;
all of the information displayed in the three regions is synchronized every
five seconds. The three regions are:
Timeline Chart region
Located in the center of the interface, this region displays the
current alarms as icons on a timeline.
Older Alarms and
Newer Alarms, displayed on the left or right
side of the timeline, provide a count of the active alarms that fall outside
the presented time span range.
Characteristic Filter region
Located on the left side of the interface, this region is used to
perform multi-selections and optionally filter alarms in the timeline and alarm
list.
This region can be pinned to the main window for viewing or
unpinned (hidden) to save space. Use the slider bars to change the size of the
region.
Alarm List and Control Actions region
Located below the Timeline Chart, this region displays the alarms
and
eligible operator events (operator
DOWNLOAD and CHANGE events)
associated with those alarms in list form.
Both of the panes in this region can be pinned to the main window
for viewing or unpinned (hidden) to save space. Use the slider bars to change
the size of the region.
The columns in both panes can be resized.
Also included in the application's interface are:

interval options for the timeline chart and buttons for performing various
actions such as opening displays or acknowledging alarms.

The status banner is only visible
when in Activation History view or when any alarm characteristics are filtered
in the
Characteristic Filter pane.

you know that alarms are currently filtered.
A

applicable).

presented.

the banner.
