Application Settings dialog

Use this dialog to configure system-wide settings for the overall application. These are applied when the application restarts on any workstation in the system and are part of the system backup. They can be set only by users with the correct privileges.

Alarms tab

Allow alarms to be acknowledged from this application

Check this box to allow the operators to acknowledge alarms from Alarm Mosaic.

Blink alarm icons to indicate unacknowledged alarms

Check this box to make all unacknowledged alarms blink. This can make it easier for the operator to focus on the alarms that have not been acknowledged.

Alarm Priority Icons

Displays the current alarm icon used to represent the alarm priorities.

To change the alarm icon for an existing priority, click on the icon you want to change and select a new one.

Alarm List Columns

Select which columns will be visible in the application.

Alarm Characteristics tab

Priority

Check this box to include Priorities as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Type

Check this box to include Types as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Plant Area

Check this box to include Plant Areas as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Unit

Check this box to include Units as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Classification

Check this box to include Classifications as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Source

Check this box to include Sources as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.

Displays

Check this box to include Displays as a characteristic in the Characteristic Filter region.
