The Soft Phase Tester
The Soft Phase Tester is a stand-alone application that tests user-created soft phases without having the Batch Executive and Soft Phase Server running. The Soft Phase Tester is designed to run on a non-DeltaV machine using a soft phase compiled as release mode (not debug mode). Because DeltaV software does not exist on the Soft Phase Tester machine, it does not have an area model and cannot get any recipe information. In order to test soft phases that use download or report parameters, the user must supply these values. However, these configurations can be saved and reused.
