Verifying a recipe

On the View tab, in the Recipe group, click Verify Recipe to ensure it has been correctly set up. Verifying a recipe examines it for the following items:

• The PFC must have one starting and one ending step.

• The following header fields must be completed: Product name, Version number, Recipe author, Equipment.

• Each step defines valid recipe paths.

• All steps are defined, linked, named, and associated with a recipe.

• The path to an associated recipe one level down is valid.

• All recipe parameters match their definitions in the associated recipe one level up.

• All transitions are linked and have valid expressions.

• The paths to all link groups are valid.

If all of these items are true and the recipe verifies correctly, Recipe Studio displays the Verification Results dialog with a message that the recipe is complete. However, if one or more of the verification items are not true, the Verification Results dialog appears with a list of errors found in the recipe.
