Download a recipe

You can download recipes to the assigned Batch Executive either as the current level of recipe (the unit procedure, for example), or the currently recipe level and all referenced recipes, for example, all operations contained by the selected unit procedure. 

When you download a recipe and referenced recipes, the recipe and all its referenced recipes are downloaded to all of the Batch Executives to which the higher level recipe is assigned. However, if a referenced recipe, (for example an operation), is assigned to a Batch Executive to which its higher level recipe, (for example a unit procedure), is not assigned, the operation is not downloaded to that Batch Executive when the unit procedure is downloaded.

Example: A unit procedure Blend, is made up of an operation FinishBlend. Blend is assigned to Batch Executive 1 and FinishBlend is assigned to Batch Executive 2. Downloading Blend and its referenced recipes will download both Blend and FinishBlend to Batch Executive 1. However, it will not download FinishBlend to Batch Executive 2 because Blend is not assigned to Batch Executive 2.
