Unit validation process prior to acquiring unit for unit aliases

The following represents the process for validating a unit alias prior to acquiring the unit. The assumption in the following picture is that a unit has been selected (UnitX) either by the operator or by the system. This validation occurs if the unit is selected at batch creation, from an operator prompt or rebinding, or as a From_Policy system selection.
