Reconfiguring Application Stations for Redundant Batch

The following instructions require that 

  • a pair of Application Stations already exists on the DeltaV system.

  • both Application Stations are running the same DeltaV software version (and it is the same across the entire DeltaV network).

  • the Application Stations are not configured as either a Batch Executive or Campaign Manager.

Important:

If either Application Station contains a Continuous Historian or Batch Historian database, you will need to move them to other machines. Refer to the topics on each historian and the Emerson KBA system for details on backing up and moving these data files.
