The values for the fields in the
Desc2 column vary depending upon the type of event
record generated.
For:
- User defined alarms and events, the
Desc2 column contains a descriptor for the user
defined string that is constructed at the time of the alarm or event state
change.
- User initiated parameter changes, the
Desc2 column contains the new parameter value
and the previous (old) value.
- System defined module and node events, the
Desc2 column contains the character string which
holds the system event descriptive strings.
- Installation events, the
Desc2 column contains the character string which
holds the installation descriptive strings.
