Show or hide the status bar

When you select a menu command or toolbar button, the status bar in the lower left corner of the window provides a short description of the command. The status bar is visible when a check mark appears to the left of the Status Bar command. The status bar is hidden when the Status Bar command is not checked. When you first open a batch document, the status bar is visible.

  1. Click View → Status Bar.
  2. To show the status bar, click Status Bar and set a check mark next to the command.
  3. To hide the status bar, click Status Bar and clear the check mark next to the command.
